Update on Australia, City Block Playmats, and the New Warehouse 23

Touching base with a few minor updates:

• Australian rewards are starting to leave the Australian warehouse and head to their final destinations: game tables across Australia! This is an ongoing process, and we do not yet have a date when the shipping will be complete. But we are very, very close to the finish line.
•  City Block 1 preorders have shipped! After significant printer delays, we have received -- and shipped! -- the BackerKit preorders for City Block 1. In other news, City Blocks 2, 3, and 4 are in the final stages of design and we've started working on a new playmat preorder campaign. We'll send out an email blast when the preorders open. 
• As mentioned last week, we're testing a new Warehouse 23 site and could use some assistance with those tests. If you order $30 or more worth of Car Wars games, expansions, and accessories before September 1, 2022, at the new store, and if you use this code -- CARWARS10 -- then you will receive 10% off your purchase. (Note that this only applies to Car Wars items in your shopping cart and nothing else.) If you spot any bugs or errors, please report them in this thread on our forums. Australian Rewards Have Landed in Australia, Scenario Update, and 10% Off Car Wars

Three bits of news for today, gang.

• The Australian rewards are now in Australia. We're still waiting for the inventory to reach the fulfillment warehouse, but the ocean journey is now over. We do not yet have an estimated date when the packages will leave the fulfillment warehouse for the final stage of their journey. We'll post an update when we know more.
• The Car Wars Companion is in editing, which includes the scenarios needed for this project. We still don't have an exact date for the Car Wars Companion Kickstarter campaign or for posting scenarios to the web, but we continue to make progress on the project.

EU and UK Update, Car Wars Companion News, Australia Rewards Still In Transit, and One Roll Chronicles Kickstarter Ends Today

Lots of news today, gang.

• For those of you in the EU and UK, packages have shipped, and most of you should already have your rewards. If you are in the EU or UK and do not have your games by August 1, 2022, please email [email protected] for support. 
• The Car Wars Companion is slowly moving from the design/playtest/development stage to the editing stage. The scenarios that were a stretch goal of this campaign are a part of the design and editing process; we'll post an update once the free scenarios are online and ready for you.
• For those of you waiting on the Australian shipment, the packages are still in transit. We appreciate your continued patience as we wait for the games to make their way to the warehouse in Australia. We'll post an update once the warehouse receives them and gives us their expected shipping schedule.
• A rules-lite RPG adventure for Steve's One Roll Quest game comes to a close on Kickstarter today. One Roll Chronicles is available in both digital and physical form. (The digital edition includes One Roll Quest in PDF; you will have to provide your own six-sided dice.) The project is here if you want to learn more.

EU and UK Update, News on Future Crowdfunding Projects and International Rewards

Darryll just confirmed the latest news on the EU and UK:

• EU - The fulfillment warehouse has everything and we're waiting for them to process the shipments. Once we hear that the packages have shipped, we'll post an update.  
• UK - The games are locked in a customs document world where bureaucracy reigns and we have no influence whatsoever. Once we get some news, we'll post an update. For now, all we can do is ask for continued patience as we work through the latest round of UK paperwork needs.

There is no news on the Australian packages at this time.

Crowdfunding and International Shipping

We are eliminating international print reward levels from all crowdfunding campaigns until the state of the world changes. (Projects that offered international print rewards that have closed will be fulfilled. This new policy applies to projects going forward.)

Between the expenses and time involved in international fulfillment, and the stresses of dealing with different customs and legal requirements demanded by others, it simply isn't a good use of our limited staff time and resources to keep struggling with shipping Kickstarter rewards to other nations.

We wish that this wasn't true. The reality, though, is that international crowdfunding fulfillment costs a lot more than shipping within our own country (and we do not receive enough funding to offset those costs) and the results are rarely good for the project backers (and never good for our staff). Going forward, we will only offer digital rewards to backers outside of the United States.

EU News and Car Wars Sixth Edition Now at Warehouse 23

EU backers, we have good news. The shipment has reached Europe and it looks like rewards will start shipping from the EU fulfillment warehouse in May. We will post an update when the warehouse reports that they've completed shipping the EU rewards.
