The Third Container Is Booked!

As has been mentioned across the internet and countless Kickstarter campaigns, global shipping is a nightmare these days. Pricier and slower than ever, many across the world are at the mercy of the shipping industry . . . and things seem to keep getting worse.
As if this writing, three of the five Car Wars containers are booked and starting to work their way through the process of traveling from the factory to our primary warehouse in the United States. We have no firm delivery date; we'll know more in the future once the containers reach the port. Even then, we'll have to deal with expected delays. We will post another update when we have news about the five containers of Car Wars goodies.
For the GURPS players and GMs in the audience, we have the GURPS 2021 PDF Challenge running here on Kickstarter. This campaign brings new GURPS PDFs to the world, and already the project has unlocked six stretch goals which means that a pledge as little as $3 will receive seven new PDFs. Can we unlock all twelve PDFs before the clock runs out?

Production Complete, Ocean Freight Is Next

The factory has completed the production of the Car Wars Sixth Edition game and expansions. As of this writing, two of the five containers are booked for transport to our primary warehouse in the United States.
The other three containers . . . well, those are still waiting for a transport schedule. We will post an update when things are better under control, but please understand that we don't know. Global freight is a bit of a wreck at the moment, as John Nephew of Atlas Games mentions in this recent NPR segment.

New Photos and Assembly Update

At the moment, we've approved many of the game and expansion packs. The assembly stage continues, but we can see a light at the end of the tunnel. We do not yet have a completion date, but we are getting very close. News to come.

Assembly Update

Today, I'm visiting the GPI offices and reviewing the Car Wars project. The game is still in the assembly stage, and we are now watching assembly videos from the factory.
While we continue spending the day going over Car Wars, here are a few quick pics I snapped. We should be able to share the assembly videos, probably next week.

Manufacturing Update

As of today, the project is moving into the final stages of manufacturing and is expected to shift into the assembly stage ASAP. The factory continues to keep everything moving forward and we should have more news in a week or two. If all goes well, we'll also start to see the 100% completed production samples before the end of the month.
